Remarkable Volgograd
Few cities in Russia come with quite as much history as that of Volgograd in southwest Russia. Sitting along the Volga River, the city is famous for the Battle of Stalingrad in WWII and hosts memorials to this decisive moment in history. The Volgograd Panorama Museum is the place to visit if you want to learn more about the history here.
