Swoon for Slovenia
It may be a small country wedged between much better known European destinations, but Slovenia is not to be overlooked. With a green landscape, lots of mountains and even a little stretch of coast, Slovenia is a playground for those that like the outdoors.
The country’s capital Ljubljana is quite pretty with its castle and makes for an excellent base to explore Slovenia further. From there you can easily journey up to see magical Lake Bled with its island church, or down to quiet Piran on the Adriatic Sea.
