Treasure Trento
Northern Italy is not short on amazing destinations to explore, which is probably why the city of Trento isn’t far more popular. The regional capital of Trentino, Trento is full of medieval character with clear views of the Alps to the north.
Because of ever-shifting European borders, Trento feels Italian but with occasional Austrian influences, giving it quite a unique feel. Still, one look at the gorgeous Piazza del Duomo and there’s no mistaking where you are. Trento’s most impressive attraction is Castello del Buonconsiglio, a massive castle and museum.
