Peaceful Plitvice
As wonderful as the coast of Croatia is, you’ll need to head inland to see one of the country’s best sights, the waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Here you can see a series of sixteen lakes flowing one into the next in the mountains of central Croatia.
Visiting Plitvice, you’re treated to one wonderful view after another of endless waterfalls, as they connect each of the terraced lakes. Getting around you’ll follow boardwalks along the lakes, mountain trails and even take a gentle boat ride to gain new perspectives.
