Take in Tayrona
The Caribbean coast of Colombia is home to many great beach getaways, but Tayrona near Santa Marta is easily one of the most interesting. Tayrona National Natural Park is an area of jungle across a mountainous stretch of Caribbean coast.
What makes it special though are the many beaches hidden in the various bays and coves there. Beaches like Cabo San Juan de Guia and La Piscina can be reached several ways, from hiking trails and horseback to even by speed boat, all of which add to the adventure.
