Captivating Coromandel
Sitting just outside the city of Auckland, the Coromandel Peninsula is a fantastic destination for seeing some of New Zealand’s best beaches. Located on the eastern side of the North Island, there’s a wonderful selection of coastal spots here, with Te Whanganui-a-Hei and New Chums Beach two of the best.
Stepping back from the ocean, the Coromandel Peninsula is covered by small towns, forest and the Pinnacles mountain range. A relaxed way to see this beautiful nature is with a ride on the Driving Creek Railway.
