As the capital of Sri Lanka, the city of Colombo is a natural starting point for travel to the country. This must-see destination combines colonial character and plenty of fantastic local food to try. You’ll actually get food with a view if you head for Colombo’s food stalls at the Galle Face Green by the city’s seaside.
