Legendary Lima
It may not be quite as dramatic as other destinations in Peru, but the capital Lima is definitely an entertaining place to visit. That’s because Lima lies on cliffs with views of the Pacific Ocean, rather than up in the lofty Andes mountains.
Much like other South American capitals, visits to Lima tend to revolve around its dynamic food scene and energetic nightlife. But it enjoys quite a charming historical centre with colonial buildings and even has some temples left from its ancient forebearers.
