A regular feature on most Japan itineraries, the modern city of Osaka is great for those looking to get know the country. That’s because Osaka offers up a nice balance of history, food, nightlife and sights, giving you everything you need to have a good time.
Osaka Castle surrounded by cherry blossom trees is the city’s signature historical attraction. Many of the other main sights are quite modern, from the Tempozan Ferris Wheel to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. As for food and nightlife entertainment, nowhere beats the district of Dotonbori.
