Welcome to Testaccio, the heart of Rome! The neighborhood takes its name after the artificial hill where the ancient Romans threw the 'testae' the shards of the broken pots that came from the river Tiber. Testaccio maintains an authentic local atmosphere that will allow you to become a real Roman during your stay and it's considered a foodie heaven by Romans thanks to the many restaurants, bars and the local market. The neighborhood represents a privileged starting point for exploring the Eternal City, starting from the Mouth of Truth, to Circus Maximus up to the Colosseum! Tiber Rooms is named after the river Tiber, symbol of the Eternal City, and is located in an early 900s building typical of the Testaccio neighborhood. It has 5 comfortable and cozy rooms with flat screen LCD TV, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, air conditioning and hairdryer. In the common room you will find books and guides to plan your itineraries and a small kitchenette with microwave oven. The standard check-in times are from 15.00 to 18.00, but we offer the possibility of early check-in from 10.00 to 15.00, with luggage storage if the room is not yet available After 19.00 a supplement may be applied for late check-in.

In the central square of Testaccio, a 2-minute walk from Tiber Rooms, you will find banks, a post office, a supermarket, a pharmacy and the famous Testaccio market is only 500 meters away.
