LOCATION: We liked the location. It was close enough to everything but not right in the middle of the busy areas. ROOM: Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor. The walls are very thin and it is a bit loud. We could hear guests in other rooms very well. Almost, like they were in our room. Street noise is also loud too. Rooms were nice and the suite was big. Certain areas could gave been cleaner, like the shower, but not a huge deal. Rooms could be in better condition but for the price we paid we were happy. Pool: Nice and relaxing.

I didn't receive any "vip benefit" at all... Not a welcom, they denied me an upgrade cause the room available was "too fancy". I didn't been welcom properly at all, no welcome amenities at all. So basically no "vip Access". So disappointed.

Great location near to everything but quiet. Big suites and nice rooftop bar and pool. Sadly the internet went out all weekend which was very inconvenient.

We were so happy with our stay. The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern and feels very luxurious. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very well equipped and cleaned well every day. We will for sure be staying here again and will be recommending the hotel to everyone.

I liked that the property was somewhat away from the noisy tourist areas but close enough to easily walk to the tourist areas when we wanted to. The beach was a short walk away as were several restaurants. A grocery store was a short walk (two blocks) away also. The room was very nice. The only drawback was that soundproofing between rooms was non existent. Our neighbours were quiet for the most part thank goodness but there were occasions when things got too noisy and patience was required.

Serenity was the perfect base for our exploration of Playa del Carmen. It was an easy walk to anywhere we went. Being off the main boulevard it’s quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Personally I found the mid-century modern design style quite appealing, but appreciated the upgrades in the kitchen. I would recommend this spot for an extended stay.
