Panama City Beach is considered one of the best vacation destination in northwest Florida. It’s no wonder why tourists from all over the world vacation in this waterfront town. Tourism has flourished here, and Panama City Beach is one of those places where you can enjoy your vacation and start planning your return as soon as you leave.

Even if pretty much any season is a good time to visit, keep in mind that Panama City Beach can be very crowded in June and July. Instead, consider visiting from April to June or in August or September. As for attractions and entertainment, you’ll find options for visitors of every age. There are plenty of beaches to explore, theme parks to enjoy, and natural parks to discover. Let’s take them one by one and talk about them in more detail.

Water Planet

Whether or not you’re vacationing with kids, Water Planet promises to be an amazing experience. It has something for everyone. The staff members here are extremely helpful and will ensure that your kids stay safe and entertained.

If one of your dreams is to swim with dolphins, you’ve found the right place. Water Planet even offers dolphin therapy to help improve your mood. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Pier Park

Pier Park is a big outdoor shopping mall and entertainment hub. You can find almost everything there, including boutique stores, ice cream shops, a movie theater, restaurants, and many other activities.

Even if the area is pretty big, covering more than 900,000 square feet, Pier Park is still walkable. I recommend parking your car in one of the complimentary shopping center lots and exploring the area on foot.

Panama City Beach

This town is called Panama City Beach for a reason. It’s known for its miles of white sand beaches and turquoise water. You can take endless walks along the shore or sunbathe the day away. Don’t miss your chance to leave your daily routine behind and relax on a chaise longue while sipping a cocktail and listening to the music of the waves.

As for accommodation, you’ll find numerous hotels for all budgets in Panama City Beach. Try to book in advance to get the best deal and check the rates here.

Conservation Park

Conservation Park is a great place for nature lovers to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. This park has miles of picturesque trails for hikers or bicyclists.

You can hike by yourself or you can take a guided walk. There are guided bird walks available by request, so don’t forget to bring your binoculars. The park is located approximately a mile from Panama City Beach.

There’s so much to do in Panama City Beach, starting with shopping, nightlife, and relaxation and finishing with hikes in natural settings. I hope my brief overview of the main activities will help you plan your trip. Let me know if you have any questions about Panama City Beach!
