If you want to experience what’s it like to live in the garden of Eden, go to YAY. This place is paradise. Everything is just right: from the small but clean and cozy huts until the delicious food in the restaurant. We also liked the yoga deck and hammocks near the river a lot. In the pool you can see hummingbirds from really close by and there are beautiful birds and flowers everywhere. We really recommend staying here at least 2 nights to relax and take a break from hopping around.

Yay sustainable was idyllic. We found ourselves immediately decompressing from the hustle and bustle of traveling. The surroundings were tranquil and refreshing, waking up to the sound of the jungle was magical. The restaurant food was healthy, delicious and reasonably priced. We loved our morning yoga classes, walks and swimming in the river and retreat pool. Staff were really helpful with advise and I enjoyed a wonderful massage from Stephanie, a real treat. When staying at YAY sustainable you can travel to go to beaches and other locations, but I would suggest just staying put and immersing yourself in the retreat experience for a few days.

Maybe the most beautiful place I every stayed in. After we arrived I felt sad that we only booked one night. Also the sourrounding area is very beautiful, you can swim in the river and walk through the jungle

This was such a wonderful hidden gem in the jungle close to the beautiful Rio River. The food and facilities were amazing! The large, open yoga room and refreshing little pool were great. We loved the food and the room was cozy and comfortable. I loved my time here and I would love to come back.

Beautiful rooms and openair showers, beautiful restaurant and in general the whole hotel area is beautiful fully integrated with nature. It's fantastic to wake up early in the morning with the sounds of different birds and other animals. Even during the night, some mammals might visit the surroundings of your cabin which is really funny too. The therapies and massages are also recommended. The staff are all amazing and very helpful.

Lovedddd our stay here. Absolutely beautiful - the landscaping is so well thought through - beautiful plants everywhere, lovely natural pool, right by the river. Loved that everything was sustainable. Really nice yoga classes and the food was delicious. Staff were really friendly. So perfect to relax in Also easy to hop on a bus to surrounding areas such as tayrona park.

This was a once in a lifetime experience because of the value to money we got as we travelled in low season. However I would still highly recommend in high season. How the owner built everything and created an oasis of peacefullness in this beautiful landscape. Chapeau!
