Pros- Beautiful, historical, lots of stuff to do, lots of attractions. There is a fun "downtown" area full of bars and restaurants. There is a new casino too. Everything is within walking distance and if it's not, there were lots of Uber and lyfts.
Cons- Lots of homeless people living on the streets and sleeping in tents.

Super cute and welcoming city.
Super cute and welcoming city. I had the good fortune to meet a new friend who essentially played historian and tour guide during my stay. The food was good, the people were friendly, and I would’ve liked a few more days.

I love Louisville…. Have great friends there. Spent NYE watching Marr Rife at the Louisville Palace which was a blast. Did not like our stay though. It wasn’t the worst by far but from its rating I expected more/better.

We grabbed a drink on Whiskey Row.
We grabbed a drink on Whiskey Row. Great view of the street from an open balcony at Number 15. We had dinner at La Bodeguita De Mima Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. I highly recommend. Then we shopped at the Red Door just 2 doors down from the restaurant. We went to a show at the Palace Theatre. This place is beautiful. Our hotel offered a shuttle so we didn't have to find parking at the restaurant or down town. Our hotel was just a short walk to the Palace.
The brown is a very old hotel; like stepping back in time. The rooms are very clean; bathroom’s updated; bed quite comfy. The food and drinks are very good and service is outstanding. From the guys out front to check in; to the bars and restaurants the customer service is very high level; you just don’t see it anymore. I don’t know much about Louisville; we chose the brown because it was within walking distance of the Louisville palace; so not sure how close it is to the entertainment area. Definitely recommend the brown
Hotel was Beautiful. Vey clean friendly helpful staff from the front desk to housekeeping and breakfast staff!! Room was clean Beds very comfortable and slept well!! Wonderful selection on breakfast. Made to order pancakes. Had something different every morning for breakfast. Pool was small but nice water temperature okay one day was warmer then the other and the fitness room was great. Elevators fast and efficient. Good location east of Louisville..to where we were visiting.
Highly recommend
Decor is cute and vibey, coffee shop on site made mornings easy (with good coffee), hotel was quiet (and I'm a light sleeper), total blackout curtains, elevators were easy, shower had very good water pressure, and the room was spacious. We didn't partake in the mini fridge but I appreciated the reasonably priced and large options. Location was also good and we were able to park on the side streets without paying.
Staff was so nice & made us feel welcomed & valued! Room was extra clean & had everything we needed. Most hotel beds cause my husband’s back to hurt, but his back felt better the next morning than it did the night before! This will be the only hotel we will ever stay at when in Louisville!
Hotel was a 20 minute walk from Angel's Envy Distillery tour. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance on Main St. It is one block from the Louisville Slugger museum. Bed was comfortable, breakfast had plenty of choices.
Considering the continuing restriction around COVID 19 the breakfast was very good. The kitchen and dining areas were clean and well managed by the attendant. The hotel was in a great location for us visiting the Louisville Kentucky Temple.
What wonderful hotel! Modern, updated, and it's kept spotless. All the staff we interacted with, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, were so pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay here when we return to the Louisville area!
We were here for the NASP Open/Championship and the location of the hotel was excellent. We took the shuttle bus over to the expo center and didn't have to pay for parking. The hotel is close to everything including the Zoo.
kitchen and bar staff was excellent. Hilton needs to give these people a raise, they are the reason people keep staying in your hotel/inn. Hilton makes more than enough to give those employees substantial raises.
Location of this Hotel is excellent. A bit hard to understand when first driving in. But great for getting to nearby locations.. Distillery row, Louisville Slugger Museum, Mahamad Ali Ctr.
The hotel is convenient to the venue that I was going to. Access to downtown was OK was not many places to get food from within walking distance except a burger place and bar.
Breakfast had plenty to choose from, area was kept clean & supplied. Area felt safe, some shopping within walking distance, easy access to interstate and downtown Louisville.
The room was clean and bed was super comfy, the location was great and a bus stopped right at the corner from the hotel so we could get to the fairgrounds easily.
