Lovely, beautifully renovated well appointed house in a stunning location. Short drive to convenience store and incredible walks. Loved the non hotel bed linen. Host very helpful when we got door code mixed up. Very comfortable chairs and sofa in living room. Very grateful for the painted markings as to where to set the shower. ( Have not got the hang of uK shower settings). Loved all of it.

Lovely, tastefully furnished apartment. It had a well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, big-screen TV, games and books. Also had a decent-sized entrance area for all the wet coats and shoes. There is a lovely outdoor area for the good weather, and we saw a brilliant sunset from the lounge window. I read a few reviews who said the area was a bit isolated, but after two days in Portree we loved being a bit away from the crowds, and it is so close to the Quiraing and Old Man of Storr walks. There is also a pub and cafe just up the road and a well-stocked grocery store. Allan was very helpful and responsive when required.

From the outside, you would not recognize that it is so cozy inside. Especially when you have (like us) nothing but pooring rain it is nice to have a cup of tea and look outside.

Even before our stay, it was easy and fast to communicate with Allan and we received all the information we needed in advance. It is a lovely flat, tastefully decorated and in a very quiet part of the village. The kitchen is very well equipped and it is fantastic that there is a washing machine and dryer (as we got quite muddy on our walks...). The internet is excellent and Netflix is a real bonus.

The house is very comfortable, on 2 floors, with private parking. It is well located for hiking in the Quiraing, Old Man of Storr, or Fairy Glen, beautiful places, but is a bit far from other places to discover on the Isle of Skye, such as Fairy Pools or Nest point.

A very well appointed property. Had everything needed to prepare meals using the oven or microwave (pots, utensils etc). Comfortable living area with smart tv and wi-fi access. Good shower. Comfy bed. Quiet. The map of Skye on the dining area wall was a nice touch.The property's location is excellent and close to several areas of interest. Small convenience store nearby which was handy for buying some groceries.
