This hostel was amazing. Friendly staff. Beautiful open air private room. A little tough to adjust to sleeping in the open so keep that in mind when booking. Family dinners were amazing. Pool sunsets with happy hour was so fun. Good music playing, not too loud. Perfect place to stay. Mini mart right next door. 20 min walk to Tayrona National park entrance.

Amazing place!!! The pool speaks for itself. During the day it’s more quiet as people leave for tayrona, sunsets get a bit busier but it’s lot of fun with music and happy hour cocktails. Walking distance to Tayrona park entrance and you can leave your bags for free. Breakfast is included, is small but tasty. Highly recommend staying here!!

The property was beautiful. We opted for a private suite and were not disappointed. Journey is located in a great spot walking distance from El Zaino entrance at Tayrona National Park. It was a fantastic place to arrive to, meet interesting travellers, and hike into the park from. We honestly wished that we had an extra day just to spend at the hostel because the vibes were awesome. Staff were also super friendly and helpful, especially Jimmy! All the meals were superb, especially the family dinners. Could not recommend this place enough!

clean, comfortable, excellent staff and great food and drinks from their kitchen and bar. Food and drinks were really affordable as well. 20 min walk from Tayrona main entrance and close to other things to see such as waterfalls, beaches. the rooms were nice and clean. A social hostel with family style dinners. The pool was a great way to cool off and relax.

great location overlooking the river and so much beautiful jungle! Well worth the booty building walk up hill! Good bathroom to guest ratio! The volunteers are super nice and very helpful! The food and cocktails were okay…nothing out of this world. Good mosquito nets. Internet really only works up top but it’s okay bc that’s where you spend most of your time anyways! I would def go back. pool is rad!
