Petra Guest House Hotel, hotel in Wadi Musa

Petra Guest House Hotel is located at the entrance of ancient Petra. It offers air-conditioned rooms that overlook Wadi Musa’s mountains. All of the rooms have traditional furnishings.

Location was amazing and so was the atmosphere - including the Cave Bar with great food. Rooms were great and well appointed, with wonderful view (we got an upgrade on arrival!), food was perfect during breakfast and also in the Cave Bar; we could sit outside in a “cave” with a portable heater. Staff was kind and accommodating. They just let you enjoy the place and no one is rushing you with breakfast although we came in at the last minute for breakfast service. Nice, hospitable and accommodating hotel. I would stay there again for sure if we come back.

Petra Sella Hotel, hotel in Wadi Musa

Located near the entrance of the red rose city (Petra) the Jordanian world wonder , Petra Sella Hotel is just 5 minutes' walk to the city center and another 5 to Petra entrance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel, and I must say, it was a perfect experience from start to finish. There were so many things I liked about my stay. First and foremost, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt like a valued guest. They were attentive to my needs and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The room itself was absolutely stunning. It was spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had some of the best nights' sleep I've had in a long time. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Everywhere I went, it was spotless. The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job in maintaining the rooms, common areas, and facilities. One of the standout features of the hotel I stayed at in Petra was its incredible mountain view location. It was absolutely breathtaking to wake up every morning and see the majestic mountains right outside my window. The mountain view location of this hotel in Petra was a major highlight of my stay. It added a touch of magic and natural beauty to the experience, making it even more memorable and unforgettable. If you are planning a visit to Petra, I highly recommend choosing a hotel with a mountain view for an extra special experience.

Petra is AMAZING, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Wadi Musa itself is a mall place with a few restaurants. Please are amazing and very polite, as in the rest of the country. The only issue a whole place has is the water - it does not flow well. Hence, the bathrooms need to be used with caution and use very low pressure as the higher one can make it wet for days. A recommendation for a good restaurant would be Mr. Falafel in The Tourist Street. A huge hug for the owner - Rami! Greetings from Serbia 🇷🇸

Petra is a great place to visit as it is one of the wonders of the ancient world. The moment we come out of siq( canyon type rock cut way) and see the Treasury , it has a magical experience. The Petra visit combined with Wadi Rum are excellent combination in souther Jordan- certainly worth visiting.

2023 update if you wanna travel on your own from Amman (not with an agency), best thing is to stay 1 night in Petra and 1 night in Wadi Rum, travel with JETT buses: - take the 7 am JETT bus from Amman to Wadi Rum, arrive by 10.30 am - walk around Petra the whole day. Bonus points for staying until sunset. - take the JETT bus the next day at 11.30 am to Wadi Rum. Spend the day and watch the sunset, stargaze - chill and do activities around the camp. Take the JETT bus to Amman at 5.00 pm --- If you can, spend 2 nights in Petra. You can take it easier and you can do more hikes and see gorgeous views

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Very kind staff. Good breakfasts, served from the early morning hours (6.30 a.m.) so that after breakfast, tourists can go sightseeing in Petra in the morning (important due to the heat that prevails later). A comfortable hotel, perfectly suited to the needs of tourists. Perfect hotel as a base for Petra and Wadi Musa. Nearby lots of shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made our visits to Pedra and Wadi Rum really easy. The free transport to anywhere on Wadi Musa was an unexpected bonus. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable, and the food was nice. During our visit to Jordan, we stayed at two 5 star hotels and two four star ones. This was our favourite, not because it was the most luxurious but because it was the best all-around experience.
