I have travelled to 60+ countries, and this is literally the #1 hotel for me in terms of staff. I have genuinely never received so much help before, which I truly needed because of the covid situation + holiday season. The staff answered all my questions in great detail, and proactively called the places I wanted to visit to ensure they were actually open, + ask for what I would need to be able to visit them (PCR, how recent, vaccin, QR code...) And they did all of that without ever hinting that a tip would be welcome, or anything. They are truly devoted to making your experience in Saint Petersbourg as good as it can be. Thank you!! Additionally, the location is great (1min away from the Hermitage museum), and the rooms are very comfy.
