I chose Njoy for atypical reason. I used to rent an apartment in the same building over a decade ago and was interested when I saw it was converted into a hotel. One of the biggest advantages of Njoy is its perfect location. Just short stroll from Praca de Republica which is good starting point to grab some food and walk to different interesting locations in Coimbra. The views from the windows and terrace are amazing, with small parks in the forefront and University in the backdrop. The room was rather small but well equipped, super clean and comfy. The AC isn't located right above the bed which is great to keep cool without freezing top of your head. Terrace is amazing spot for coffee or some wine while enjoying the view. I'm not sure if it was mentioned on booking site, because I wasn't sure beforehand but there is spacious dining area and kitchen available to visitors. Communication with the place is very quick and I always got responses very promptly.

The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, modern and clean. The value for money was excellent! The location was pretty good, not quite in the center of the tourist area but still 10 to 15 minute walk to most major attractions.

The personnel helped us when we had a problems during the travel accros the Portugal. They were very cooperative. We spent our holiday in Portugal in four places.
