Beautiful villa which is very tastefully decorated. Extremely comfortable room with lovely bathroom. Pool area is fabulous and very welcome after a day of sight seeing. Hosts were amazing, a lovely family who were so hospitable & welcoming. They gave us great tips for travelling around Sri Lanka (which we wish we had known sooner!) as well as lots of recommendations for our onward journey (which tried and tested, have all been great). Can't recommend this place enough. Although the villa is located slightly out of Kandy, you will be glad you stayed here rather than in the centre of Kandy as it is so peaceful and only a short and inexpensive tuk tuk ride from the centre! We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back one day :)

On vacation in Sri Lanka and passing trough Kandy for 2 days, we received a very warm welcome from our hosts Shiha and Nigel! Everything was perfect, the house is magnificent, spacious, fresh and finely decorated! We loved Shiha's dishes, excellent cuisine! The hosts Shahi and Nigel were really warm and friendly and super helpful. Being able to interact with them was a big plus. The dinners we ate at their place were delicious, especially the one made by Nigel's mother which was one of the best meals we had showcasing Sri Lankan cuisine. The house design and architecture is stunning. Also, just wanted to mention that this is a Homestay and its clearly mentioned and that is the charm, so some people trying to compare it to a hotel and expecting food at any time or other such facilities isn't reasonable at all. Overall we loved our time here and would definitely go back if we visited Kandy again.

The owners are incredibly nice and helpful! The rooms are very large and nicely furnished. The bathroom is also very large and clean - Generally, the accommodation is very well kept. We felt very very comfortable and would definitely recommend it!

We arrived after the train journey from Ella and at Niketh Villa was a tranquil haven. We only stayed for one night but could have easily stayed here for so much longer! The property is beautifully designed and has a really high-end finish. We arrived quite hungry and Sheema prepared us a delicious club sandwich before we then headed out to visit the Temple of The Sacred Tooth Relic. The property is about a 20-minute tuk-tuk ride from Kandy train station and we appreciated it being away from the relative bustle of the town centre (Kandy is a pretty chilled place anyway). The room and en suite was spacious, clean, and quiet. Nigel, Shahi and Sheema were so friendly, welcoming and kind and made our stay so comfortable - bohoma istuti!
