We loved having a room big enough for us and our 4 children. The pool was a big draw but the weather wasn't right for a swim. The meals were delicious! The kids really appreciated having Nutella with their breakfast. Having the kid's books and games in the lobby was a lovely touch. Lastly, the staff was very attentive and kind.

There are many good things I could write about this lodge. First of all the staff were very friendly - we arrived a bit late and the staff came to meet us at our car, helped us carry our luggage to our rooms. The rooms were very clean and well done, we had requested for a cot and for sure we found a nicely fitted one. The food was amazing - they serve both local and international cuisines. Also since you're likely to be going for a game drive every morning- they'll ak you if you need packed lunch. Even on the departure day, they packed for us take away lunch. The manager - Baraka was very kind and always ensured we were comfortable.

Evening meals fantastic. Pack lunch for our safaris were also good Log fire in the evening and board games 🎲 were special and gave it a primal feel. No mosquitos. Staff attentive and always left with a "karibou" and a smile.
