Exhausted after a hard day of travel, I was apprehensive about what I would find at the Estacion, but was delighted when I saw the comfy, well-appointed room with a king-size bed (all of the 4 rooms have them). There was no complaint from the hostess (bilingual) when I arrived late at night, two hours past my timed arrival, which was typical of her efforts to make her guests comfortable, including bathrobes for wearing when using the clean, remodeled, shared bathroom. Located in Little Havana in a safe, quiet neighborhood just off calle 8 (8th St.) just 3 blocks from the famed Cuban restaurant Versailles, the house can be reached by bus from the airport (Bus 37) and downtown Miami (Bus 8). Truly a gem! I'm glad I found it.
