The California Academy of Sciences, based in San Franciscos Golden Gate Park, is home to an aquarium, planetarium, rainforest, and natural history museumall under one living roof! Inside one of the greenest museums in the world, visitors can find captivating experiences including nearly 60,000 live animals, with new exhibits added every year. Every visit supports the Academys mission to regenerate the natural world.

Reserve entry to the Planetarium in order to facilitate physical distancing. Do this by scanning a QR code with your smartphone at the Academy and choosing an entry time. The capacity for Planetarium is limited. Planetarium shows may not be appropriate for children under 7, and we regret that we cannot permit any child under 4.
