The location was perfect for visiting areas like Soho, The Village, and even the East Village. We spent most of our time within walking distance to the hotel, where there are lots of great restaurants, bars, comedy clubs, jazz bars, and shopping. There was a subway station close to the hotel so you could easily access the city by subway if walking isn't your preferred mode of transport. Staff were very friendly. They allowed us to stow our bags after check-out and when we returned later, we were able to sit in the lobby whilst we waited for our driver. The best part of our stay was the complimentary upgrade when we checked in. It was unexpected and we went from a king room to a suite! It was huge, with a good view. The hotel was a great place to stay for our vacation. We would absolutely return, and I would highly recommend The Dominick.

The view from the room was gorgeous but we booked the SoHi room and it didn't quite meet my expectations. The images they use to advertise that room are obviously corner rooms, which I was expecting. Meaning we would've gotten a view from two sides of the room. The window however was just on one side of the room and although it was beautiful and breathtaking at night, I was expecting that corner view which would've been even better! Apart from that all else was great. Location was perfect for us and staff were excellent.

i booked this hotel for the view of Manhattan. did not disappoint me. the view from the room one of the best i ever found in NYC. the hotel itself is not high level in design or other aspects. but the view compensates for all it misses
