Cozy apartment on the ground floor of our second home, located on Sommarøya, a beautiful little island in this spectacular arctic archipelago with sandy beaches, turquoise water and amazing views. Experience aurora borealis in the winter, and midnight sun in the summer. Sommarøya is 1 hour drive from the airport, rental car is recommended:) The village has a convenience store, hotel, fast food diner, gas station. Rent a boat or kayak nearby, or join a guided sea eagle safari.

The apartment is 1 hour drive from the airport. Parking outside the door. Renting a car is recommended. Sommarøya is also available by bus, but somewhat limited service. The nearest bus stop is Sommarøya Baptistkirka (50m). Bus travel planner: search for tromskortet Sommarøya is a small island, and You can reach everything by foot. The convenience store is a 5 minute walk, the diner 5 minutes. The hotel is on the neighbor island, but still only 15 minutes to walk.
