My accommodation was a charming little house entirely constructed from wood, with thoughtful and attractive decorations that created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The eating area followed suit, adorned with vintage decorations and decorative natural flowers, making every meal feel special. Having a parking spot right next to my house added an extra layer of convenience, simplifying my daily excursions. While the accommodation didn’t offer dinner during my stay due to the low season, this turned out to be a hidden blessing. It led me to explore the nearby city of Hofn, where I discovered some fantastic restaurants for my evening meals. In summary, my stay at Árnanes Country Hotel was nothing short of delightful, thanks to the incredible warmth of the owners, the beauty of the surroundings, and the comfort of my accommodation. The check in staff was friendly and gave us recommendations on activities. She took her time to explain everything even though we arrived late at night. Great view from the hotel. Location close to Vestrahorn Mountain. Our room was upgraded to accommodate our family size.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great, we had great views of both the sea and the glacier. It it is very secluded so we decided to dine there and the food was amazing the lamp is from the Farm and the tomato soup was delicious I think is one of the best meals we had in our stay in Iceland

The room was very comfortable. The beds were cozy. The owners and staff were all very friendly. The shared kitchen was well equipped, very clean, and I was a big fan of the free coffee. It is in a great location in Hofn, everything within the city is in walking distance. We had a wonderful view of the Northern Lights from Hofn too.
