Waikiki Shore Lobby Modernization:
The Homeowners Association at the Waikiki Shore Beachfront Condominium will be renovating their lobby as well as modernizing elevators from May 14 – November 1, 2023. During this time, the entrance to the building will be temporarily moved from the right side to the left side of the building, where the Front Desk and operating elevator will be located.
The expected impact to guests is as follows:
• Work will be done between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No work on the weekends or holidays.
• While guests will be directed to the left side of the building for entry and exit, there will be visible signs of construction on the right-hand side of the building.
• The demolition phase from 5/1/23 – 6/1/23 will include jackhammering, sawing, and pounding.
• Noise impact will be limited during the construction phase from 6/1/23 – 7/1/23. This will include sawing, pounding, and tile cutting.
• There will be minimal impact during the tile laying, furniture installation, and painting from 7/1/23 – 11/1/23.
• Parking availability may be limited.
• Wait times for elevators may be longer than usual.
• Timing of the project is subject to change.
