Our home, our availability, our advice. Ours is an authentic b & b, where you will find your intimacy but at the same time the warmth of a real home, of a family ... ready to pamper you and advise you for the best. The Bandiera77 b & b, is located inside a historic market in the center. A street with many stalls, once full shops of fabrics and equipment. If you follow it to the end, this road leads into another important market, the Capo market. Rich in colors and flavors of our beloved land, a place to immerse yourself in true Palermo. Street food, fish, meat, vegetables, all on display in the streets of the market. Just turn the corner, a few meters from the front door and you are immediately in Via Maqueda, the pedestrian street where people stroll, every hour of the day and night, pubs, restaurants, markets, pastry shops, and more important monuments. The bus stop to and from the airport is immediately on the parallel street, via Roma, just five minutes away on foot. The apartment where the b & b is located has been recently renovated. Ample space, essential and clean furnishings. Parquet floor and high roofs.
I am Manuela, your Host at Bandiera77 b & b. To share with me the pleasure of hospitality are my husband Manlio and my little Manfredi, a six year old boy. Manlio and I have been managing another apartment for several years, "La via delle biciclette", our old house where we hosted many people with whom we still have excellent friendships. Just read the reviews about us and you will understand how much we love this job. I am an ethno-anthropologist and passionate photographer. I love sharing with my guests my dear places, the restaurants that my family and I frequent, my habits ... so it won't be difficult for you to quickly become travelers looking for local and authentic experiences. For the most loyal to guides and tourist attractions there will be no shortage of the right recommendations, and for the carefree vacationers more unusual itineraries. I know my city and its monuments very well, for this reason I can illustrate the different attractions, the unesco sites, the intangible and obviously the enograstronomic inheritances. It will be a pleasure to guide you to discover my city and beyond. I wait for you!!!
Via Bandiera, one of the historic markets of Palermo. An ancient road where ancient shops livened up the neighborhood until arriving, via Via S. Agostino, at the Capo market where you will find all the food delights and colors of the historic market. A few meters away, still from Via Bandiera, is the Teatro Massimo the largest opera house in Italy and one of the largest in Europe, third after Paris and Vienna. The Via Maqueda, a historic street in Palermo, a pedestrian street, a street for walking, shopping and relaxation. From here you will be at the Quattro Canti, an octagonal square, the heart of the historic center, which connects the Via Maqueda with Corso Vittorio Emanuele, formerly called Cassaro, an ancient Phoenician road that connected the acropolis and the royal palace. at the sea. On this road you will find the majestic Arab-Norman Cathedral and the Royal Palace or the Normans. On the other side you can reach the sea, Piazza Marina, the Cala, the Italic forum and the botanical garden, just to name a few.
