Very welcoming hosts and a fantastic experience. Sailing and snorkeling was fun.

From arriving at the Yacht Club, we where made extremely welcome. We had good directions to get to the Yacht Club. The boat is beautiful and is located in the beautiful Ōpūnohu Bay. Overlooked by the Amazon mountains of Morea. The yacht club had good food if you wanted to eat on shore. We were advised to take food for the days JP and Doris didn’t provide food. We came up short one day and they shared some amazing food with us, they didn’t have to do this. JP and Doris are fabulous owners. We also had Fani join us for the snorkel tour. She was laid back, really nice, and we had lots of laughs.

We stayed three nights at this lovely sailing boat. The boat is very nice & precisely manufactured. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt comfortable. A wonderful sailing trip was included with information about sailing and a music session. Doris and JP are very heartwarming hosts. Everyday we woke up in the calm marina with a scenic view and got delicious breakfast on board. Close by there is a restaurant which serves great fish dishes. It was a very nice experience and we enjoyed it to the fullest!

Doris and JP were very kind with during all our stay. Breakfast was based on bread with jams and fruit, all of very good quality. :) Due to a misunderstanding, we did not bring food for the stay, but very kindly they offered to cook for us and we paid them the menu price. Very kind from their side since the supermarkets were far away and we did not have transport to get around. Note that we did the snorkeling excursions with Doris, who took us to strategic points to see many fish, turtles, as well as being able to swim with sharks and rays. With JP we went sailing, and it was a very rewarding experience as we were able to learn about the world of sailing and the work that having a sailboat entails. Recommended experience for couples who want to get out of the traditional, and meet people from all over the world.

the hosts are very gently and give all the information you need. the breakfast is very nice. the dinner is excellent. the public beach close to the boat is wonderful.

JP et Doris sont très accueillants ! Nous avons passés 2 jours très agréables (Soirées conviviales, petits déjeuner copieux et très bons, la sortie en bateau était top (attention au mal de mer par contre!)). L'intimité est restreinte dans le bateau. Nous étions seul avec JP et Doris c'était très bien, mais à voir si il y avait eu un couple supplémentaire. Le bateau est au mouillage dans la baie d'Opunohnu qui est idéalement situé pour pouvoir se déplacer dans les principaux spots dans le nord de l'ile (rando ou plage). Mention spécial au snack de la marina qui propose des bons plats et des soirées très qualitatives les vendredis et samedi soirs ! (JP nous y a amené avec l'annexe)

Les propriétaires sont vraiment sympa, on a beaucoup aimé la sortie voile et l'ambiance à bord. Le bateau se trouve dans une baie magnifique.

Excellent accueil de JP & Doris à bord de leur bateau dans la baie d'Opunohu, sortie en mer aux abords de Moorea, et 2 nuits totalement insolites dans la baie. Très belle expérience, et de belles rencontres.

This is a unique Polynesian stay for any age. The hosts, in their late 30’s, were patient and kind to us - age 64. They love sharing their lifestyle and time in Moorea. This is a sailboat - do not anticipate luxury - anticipate and appreciate the lifestyle. The place is extremely clean and the hosts wonderful. They speak excellent English and enjoy sitting and visiting. The real bonus is the sunset cruise. We were the only ones staying on the boat and our cruise ended up being private. JP and his first mate (Doris was at her other job - guiding whale watching tours). We were able to take the helm and steer the sailboat and learn the basics of the sail positions. You must experience this unusual - and - unique place to stay. Thanks JP and Doris!
