Chalet Chipmunk is located on a large private and secluded lot framed by spruce and aspen, 1/2 way up Mt Werner's gondola with fabulous views. Charming and cozy with a European old world French flare describes this sunny open floor plan. Chalet Chipmunk has all the amenities from granite counter tops and teak antique furniture to a brand new private hot tub and two decks.
There is a FREE shuttle to gondola and downtown close by.(see map)
The sunny living room (gas fireplace and satellite TV, CD player.DVD,WIFI), dining, and kitchen open onto a furnished deck with a gas grill and extensive views south and west of Yampa valley, mountains, gondola and the town below.

The upper level has a master bedroom with king bed and 2nd bedroom with queen all with commanding views and a shared bath.
The garden level can be used as a master suite king bed and a twin bed or converted to 3 twins with its own gas fire place, TV, deck and bath. The hot tub is located on lower deck.

Quiet and private, you are above noisy and crowded condos on a wooded residential lot.
After a day of exhilarating exercise relax in your private hot tub and watch the sunset from the deck. You'll enjoy this retreat any time of year with a variety of sports and cultural amenities Steamboat has to offer in all it's colorful seasons.

Great Spot For a Group Stay

The house was great, and kitchen very well equipped. Plenty of space for a group to spread out with ample beds! Only complaint for those skiing is the hill to and from the shuttle bus stop with ski boots on and carrying skis is tricky/steep, especially on the way home. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Nice space in a nice location

Lots of space for our family during our busy ski vacation. We’re loved being able to come home to our own hot tubs and beds!

Steamboat Chalet

This place exceeded our expectations! Very close to skiing drop off site and our family had a great time at Steamboat resort. Every room had a view and we had glorious afternoon sun that allowed some deck time on our last day. Perfect vacation ~ thanks

Large residential lot above condos. Quiet and private. We love Steamboat as a getaway for vacations and family gatherings. Every season is enjoyable, and has its own beauty and appeal. Steamboat has lots of great shopping, year round entertainment and restaurants. Special events through out the year are a featured attraction. Enjoy!

Private and Quiet, Chalet Chipmunk is unique modeled after a European Chalet with an old world ambience. Sunny and cozy with an 3 level floor plan for privacy. Fabulous views, 2 decks, private hot tub. Trout fishing, mountain biking, great skiing and hiking or just relaxing are all here.. In winter there is a free shuttle to the Gondola Base and to downtown historic Steamboat. Chalet Chipmumk is a real home in a private residential area, well above the noisy crowded condos.
We enjoy Steamboat year round with all its seasonal activities.
