We were only here on an overnight visit after going to a show at the Upper Canada Playhouse. The weather was cool and overcast so although we drove around for a bit did not really take in the sights. The downtown area is a must to see though and holds an old time charm that should not be missed. From historical period homes and lovely shops/stores to visit and all set against the mighty St Lawrence River. We have promised ourselves to go back when it gets warmer and take full advantage of the area.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay in Brockville and found enough to do there. The town is pleasant to explore with some nice shops and restaurants. The museum and railway tunnel are interesting, the river cruise is fun, the scenery beautiful and the waterside location relaxing. Pace of life feels slow and this is reflected in some of the service we experienced in the restaurants. There are opportunities for swimming and boating but we did not try these. We also did not visit the Aquatarium but this looks good especially for children. Overall a really nice place to visit where the locals seem to take a great pride in their town and their history.

I loved walking on the water front, just fantastic views of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
We had a great meal at the pub at Tall Ships Landing.
Loved the 1000 Islands cruise, worth the money paid for 1.5 hours.
I found the city quaint, with its beautiful old historic buildings, squares and churches, a real little jewel.
People were very friendly.
Pay parking available, and free parking for 2 hours also available, so that was great.
Did not like that most of the restaurants closed by 9 or 10 pm, some even by 7 pm.

It is a charming little town with interesting things to view and within a short distance of Seaway towns.
We ate at Chucks, which is within easy walking distance of the Inn. The menu was huge, great service, very reasonable prices, wish the restaurant was closer to where we live!

Small town with lots of amenities - golf course located only a few kilometres from downtown, multiple marinas, choice of restaurants and cuisines, small shops as well as big box stores, Brockville Tunnel, Brock trail that runs through good length of town, Mac Johnson Conservation area, situated on St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands, easy access via 401 or RT 2.
An Absolutely Treasure. Each suite has its own theme from history but offers everything you expect from a modern apartment. I’ve had the pleasure in staying in both the C&C Room (Caesar & Cleopatra) in the main building and the 2 story/ 2 bedroom Carriage House, which also includes 2 fireplaces and honestly I couldn’t recommend this option any higher if you’re looking for a romantic getaway.
The Boutique Hotel in Brockville was a perfect getaway just off the main road in town, a close walk to the farmers market, and all the great restaurants and shops. The breakfasts were delicious. The room was comfortable and clean, the salt-water pool was delightful, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff however we booked here assuming the pool was open due to the fact it did not say online that it was closed like the other hotels we looked at! We would have booked somewhere else at a better rate if we had known! Room should have been discounted because of this and wasn’t
we loved the breakfast at this hotel. This hotel had lots of variety and had convenient containers to take the food back to the room where you had to eat. Trish is also very friendly and helpful. This made us feel better about our stay.
Close to downtown, lots of space, clean and well appointed. Beautiful home with attendant hosts. Ida makes fantastic french toast! And David gave us valuable info about the tourist attractions in Brockville. Lovely people!
The property is so beautiful and the host are outstanding. When I travel back to Brockville I will definitely stay with them again. The location is very convenient and charming.
The place was amazing, comfortable, and the hosts were amazing and courteous. The breakfast was amazing. So close to amenities and the town of Brockville. Lots to do and enjoy.
Very good access from the main. Neat, clean and friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Excellent value for money. Better than holiday Inn in Toronto that we stayed before this.
The decor of this hotel is exceptional. The cleaning staff very helpful and friendly.
