Surrounded by epic mountain scenery and a peaceful lake, Pokhara is a wonderful place to relax while in Nepal. Walking around the city you won’t have to look hard for snow-capped mountains and Pokhara is the gateway to the popular Annapurna treks.
One side to this city that may surprise you is its booming adventure-sports offerings, with options such as paragliding and white-water rafting. A more relaxed approach here may be to take up yoga or float about on Phewa Lake.
