The Power of Petra
Even if you don’t know where it is, chances are you immediately recognise Petra when you see it. That’s because the remains of this archaeological site in southern Jordan are truly captivating and the definition of a bucket list destination.
Set within the high sandstone cliffs in the Jordan’s deserts, Petra is home to ruins of ancient city. It’s most famous landmark is The Treasury, but there are actually many ruins and tombs here carved into the pink sandstone.
