Enjoy Krasnoyarsk
The city of Krasnoyarsk doesn’t really mesh with the common image of Siberia, a vast and wild region in Russia. That’s because Krasnoyarsk, on the banks of the Yenisei River in the region’s south, is quite a large and elegant city, that’s clearly prospered.
Spots like Revolution Square highlight the city’s Soviet-era landmarks, while the city’s train station offers up a new look entirely. The most popular attractions in Krasnoyarsk though are the Stolby national park across the river and the views from the hilltop Chapel of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa.
